Can someone please tell my BEAUTIFUL niece to please slow down and stop growing up so fast?! Francine is the youngest of my nieces and incredibly DASHING. She was once the youngest of all of the grandchildren until I had my little ones. Now, she's become a teenager and a FABULOUS young lady. She loves animals, sewing, crafting and participating in her church's youth program. She recently made the decision to be baptized this past spring and is growing her thick, long, soft hair so she can donate at least 10 inches of it to the incredible organization, Locks of Love. Locks of Love is a non-profit organization that creates hairpieces for financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss, helping to restore their self-esteem and confidence. She is an AMAZING young lady with a COMPASSIONATE heart of GOLD and we are so blessed to have her in our family.

Baby Avery | 5 Months Young | Phoenix Baby Photographer
Sunday, July 28, 2013
I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to be a part of this little beauty's life. I have been photographing Baby Avery since she was still in her momma's tummy and today I had the privilege to capture a few images of her at 5 months young on the day of her Baptism at St. Mary's Basilica in Phoenix. As always, Baby Avery was as calm, cute and happy as can be. She's such an angel to photograph and her big sister Neveah is absolutely in love with her. Avery is so lucky to be LOVED so much by her family and God Parents. What a happy day!

Not too long ago I fell upon an adorable little shop around the corner called Green Table Gifts. They used to be located in Chandler but moved to their new location in Tempe not too long ago. The store is AMAZING if you're like me and LOVE hunting for AWESOMELY ADORABLE VINTAGE finds. Here's a few photos from my iPhone of the items I found to LOVE. ENJOY!
ADVANCE | JUNE 2013 | PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP | TULSA, OK
Monday, July 1, 2013
Hey folks! So, a couple of weeks back I had the opportunity to meet with two FABULOUS photographers, Madison Vining of Madison Vining Photography and Trisha Jimenez of TG Photography. Both ladies are BRILLIANT photographers and AMAZING people to get to know. If you ever aspire to become a photographer or even if you're just someone who wants to beef up their paparazzi skills, these are the two ladies you want to meet. Their photography studios work together seamlessly to provide you with a comprehensive ways to help you grow your photography business, develop your technical skills and ADVANCE.
I have been so incredibly busy these past two weeks because I have totally been INSPIRED by these ladies as well as by my fellow classmates; I am not sure which way to turn next - but in a completely GOOD way. So many of my questions have been answered about photography, editing, finding my niche and developing my business. I feel CONFIDENT and EMPOWERED. I frequently find myself reflecting fondly about the time I invested in Tulsa at the workshop and I am so glad I had this opportunity.
Here are a few "behind the scenes" looks at what I had the luxury of being a part of.
